Kits-World # 148017 Features "Sweet Arlene", "Jan", "Iron Ass" & "My Achin' Back" P51D Nose Art Decals.
Four themes based on artwork designed by crew Chief/Staff Sargent Donald E. Allen. This decal sheet depicts four artworks found on the silver P51D's flown by pilots of 334th Fighter Squadron. "Sweet Arlene" was based on a photo of the pilots wife, "Jan" was also taken from a photo supplied by the pilot.
"Iron Ass" was a departure from the scantily clad girl-theme, while "My Achin' Back" was most likely a reference to a common complaint by pilots suffering 8 hour flights on a rock hard parachute/seat!
